Services

Joey’s Movers provides residential and commercial moving services, including packing, transportation, and storage solutions. All services are subject to availability and agreement at the time of booking.


Use of Website

By using our website, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and to provide accurate and truthful information when submitting forms or requesting services.


Estimates and Scheduling

All quotes and estimates are based on the information provided at the time of booking. Final pricing may vary depending on actual services performed, inventory, access conditions, additional services, or changes to the scope of work.

Scheduling is subject to availability. Arrival windows are estimates and may be affected by factors such as traffic, weather, or delays at prior jobs.


Payments

Payments for services may be processed through a third-party payment provider. Joey’s Movers does not store or process payment information directly on this website. Payment terms, including deposits and final balances, will be provided at the time of booking.

Failure to make required payments may result in delays or suspension of services.


Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customers must provide reasonable notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests. Deposits may be non-refundable depending on the timing of the cancellation and the terms agreed upon at booking.


Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information regarding their move
  • Ensuring clear and safe access to all locations (including parking, elevators, and entryways)
  • Securing any necessary permits or permissions
  • Properly packing items unless packing services are requested
  • Removing or securing fragile, high-value, or irreplaceable items

Joey’s Movers is not responsible for damage to items packed by the customer.


Prohibited and Restricted Items

Joey’s Movers does not transport hazardous materials, flammable items, explosives, perishable goods, or illegal items. Customers are responsible for ensuring that such items are not included in their shipment.


Damage Claims and Liability

Joey’s Movers takes care in handling all items; however, due to the nature of moving services, some risk is inherent.

Any damage claims must be reported within a reasonable timeframe following completion of services.

Liability for loss or damage is limited as outlined in your service agreement or applicable valuation coverage selected at the time of booking.

Joey’s Movers is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage
  • Items of extraordinary value not disclosed in advance
  • Damage resulting from improper packing by the customer
  • Mechanical or electronic failure of items

Photos and Documentation

Joey’s Movers may take photos or videos before, during, or after services for operational, documentation, quality control, and dispute resolution purposes. This may include images of items being moved and property conditions.

By using our services, you acknowledge and consent to such documentation. Joey’s Movers will not use photos containing personally identifiable information for marketing or promotional purposes without prior consent.


SMS Terms of Service

By opting into SMS from a web form, phone call, or other communication method, you agree to receive SMS messages from Joey’s Movers.

These messages may include:

  • Appointment confirmations
  • Service reminders
  • Arrival notifications
  • Customer service communications
